Worming and delicing at the same time?
« on: May 20, 2010, 13:09 »
I am worming the girls with Flubenvet at the moment (now on day 3) but feel they probably need de licing aswell.  I have the johnsons anti mite spray which is permethrin based.  Should I wait and de lice them when I have finished the Flubenvet or is it alright to do it now.  They do say not to use other chemicals together. Also, when using the johnsons spray should you part the feathers so it touches the skin or just on their feathers?
2 Springer Spaniels, 1 Speckled Sussex,  1 Cuckoo Maran, 1 Light Sussex, 1 Welsummer, 2 Barnvelders and 2 silver Pencil Wyandotes.

When i put the johnsons spray on, i part the feathers, one spray on the back of the neck, under each wing and around the vent area (not on vent), repeat after 7 days to catch any unhatched eggs.   nickyx
