Our works do was last night - a buffet cooked by me and a couple of others. Never seen so much food woofed down so quickly. Anyway the hot picallili, apple chutney and courgette chutney was much appreciated by the troops.
Good job I've still got a large cupboard full of other jars of stuff.

40 ish and then a few more with the leftovers today. A big success. Good food cooked simply, and munched at high speed.

This time of the year any alternative to the "Christmas menu" in a hotel is welcome. We had to pay £18 for a 3 course "school dinner" a couple of years back and I won't eat there again in a hurry. Home cooked simple food sounds like top nosh to me!!
