Hi all, just wanted to post these two pictures of my son's first seedling. He is nearly two years old and as you can see the gardening bug seems to have got him already as he was pleased as punch to see the little shoot emerge. This is a seedling for an 'Atlantic Giant' Pumpkin so lets hope he gets a pumpkin even bigger than he is, lol.

We sowed the seeds from our Halloween pumpkins Ricky and Bob because my youngest was rather upset at them going in the compost heap after all that hard work, well Ricky and Bob's babies are on the way!

I was bought a camellia last autumn in flower, when down south with my parents.  As I was travelling back on the train, Mum suggested that I left it with them until they came to visit me by car.  I was disheartened by that, as I didn't want to miss seeing it flower - so Mum promised to do the same as you, and send me progress reports of it in flower!  Made my day each time she emailed me

My little boy loves to help out in the garden too but like Beetroot Queen's Florence, he's a little heavy handed with the watering can.  I still wouldn't change him or the time we have together outside for anything though.  The seeds will just have to get on with it.
