Hi
I am sure you will get some keets from Melton Mowbray 'Fur and Feathers' market. Every Tuesday morning. Get there early.
Are you new to guniea fowl?
Don't want ot to teach my grandmother to suck guinea fowl eggs (which are very good, by the way) , but in our experience, the survival rate is much higher if you buy them with a broody hen. Keets we have had without a hen, tend to wander away from the farm, no matter how long you keep them indoors to start with. Either that, or they throw themselves into the mouths of the local foxes. Not awfully bright, guinea fowl, although we love them to bits. With a broody hen they tend to stick around much better because she teaches them some of her homing techniques.
Good luck.
