I don't know but someone will be along to answer soon.  In the meantime please remove the caps lock as writing in capitals is considered shouting on a forum. :)

I've edited it Ice.

We have a few members here who keep both types of chickens.  I'm sure they will be around soon to advise you.

I have layers (mixed hybrids) and table birds (Sasso Cendré, Hubbard JA657, and Sasso naked necks) running together in the same area.

The layers prefer to eat the growers pellets to their own layers, but I'm not measuring my birds food to meat conversion rate, so mixing the food around isn't bothering me (the layers always have access to grit and oyster shell, and the quality of the eggs isn't suffering - in fact I'm having more consistently 5/5 eggs every day now than ever before!)

My growers pellets aren't medicated though.. in the UK you have to be aware of this.

I don't have any problems otherwise (apart from 5 of 11 cockerals are now crowing.. I thnk I'll be giving a dressed chicken to the neighbours as well as eggs this weekend!)

if the layers put on to much weight from eating the growers pellets would this stop them laying ? would the table birds be to thin to eat if the eat to much layers ? sorry dont

To be honest, if you're only runing your table birds on for 12 or so weks, it won't affect your layers that much.

My chickens (all of them) have approximately 140sqm of space to dig up, mooch around and sunbathe in.  It keeps the layers fit, and the table birds are developing nice big legs :D

12 weeks is that all it takes before ready for table , is that the best age?

We keep our meat chickens and layers separate.  Yes, the meat chickens will get to table weights in about 12 weeks, occasionally longer especially in the cold weather, but you mentioned Suffolk hybrids?  Are these supposed to be the meat chickens?

Suffolks are a dual purpose bird, but the only Suffolk hybrid I know of is an egg layer.

Our meat birds are Hubbard 757 mainly, although we do get Coloryields and we used to have Mastergris, which took a few weeks longer, but made a nice size at the end!   ::)
