My dad had a voucher and he ordered me(without me knowing) some elegance tomatoes from dobbies which are grafted, has anyone experience these types of toms before? as I'd never heard of them until today.

sounds interesting what kind of rootstock would you put it on?? yould it be like putting a dwarf variety onto a normal one to get a big crop or what

For many years commercial growers have used grafting as a way of overcoming pests and diseases. However it does also have a significant extra benefit as it produces a much more vigorous plant which will be healthier and crop for longer. Currently over 60% of tomatoes grown commercially in the UK have been produced on grafted stock.
