I am all in favour of creating something for free take one bamboo plant in my garden which has gone rampant and create a runner bean support on the alotment for free.

I have taken the bamboo canes which we grew in our garden last year and have made my runner bean supports if I had the ability I would post the pictures on this site sorry a bit of a ludite concerning computers.

i have a bamboo plant on my allotment and take canes as i need them. it's great.
computer illiterate, a one finger typist but doggedly determined to keep up with this new technology and use it to help me on my allotment.

Nope we inherited it it is not envasive but last year produced at least 20 shoots which I am now using on the alotment/

If ya grow bamboo be careful, even the clump forming such as phyllostacys can spread, i use specially designed root barriers to stop mine spreading.
