He as settled in really really well :) :) the cats just think one of the old dogs have come back
We took him for walk by the river yesterday afternoon and he met another basset so he was happy
Yes he is a very handsome boy

My Auntie had a Bassett and I was supposed to look after him for a weekend.  I decided to take him for a walk - no, alter that to he took me for a walk! He took me round to my Aunt's mothers and would not go home before that!  Your new dog looks much kinder.

Yes they do and he trips over them when walking :) :) :) :)
As for being a gentleman looks can be very deceptive but bassets do tend to look down there nose at you :) :)

What a gorgeous boy!  He's all juicy and squeezy, do his ears still smell of puppy?  I love puppies ears and Bailey's are particularly splendid!  :lol:

He's beautiful!  I love those big pudgy paws on Bassets, they're adorable.
