help have a greenhouse full of gerkins about 3" or 75mm in new money long question is what is the best way to pickle em?

mouth watering already how long will i have to wait befor use.

I too will be trying them this year. In my search for a recipe, I found this, along with an amusing write up about the history of gherkins.

thanks for that digger am on the way to my first jar. great news that they are ready from breakfast the next day.
and a great write up about the humble gherkin cant use them to light up the lotty what a pity.
