Every breeder/supplier who has talked about feed has said layer's pellets for POL birds. Some of my POL birds however are not colouring up in the face yet and still seem quite young. Should I switch to grower's until they actually start laying? I've had a quick look at some of the other threads on the forum and they suggest that starting with layer's pellets too early can cause problems with bone development.

I would mix growers and layers pellets for them until they start laying or reddening up.
If the growers is medicated you will not be able to eat the first egg and that will be a shame.
