As you are all aware these are like hens teeth, so very expencive to buy.  Which has led me to thinking is it possible to make some out of scaffold bar and 6-10mm reinforcing steel??? Has any one tried to make any?? or am I being stupid?

sounds OK give it a go MT's are 1 1/4 should be a doable job
I have a set of the digger tines in the garage
