last week i aquired a 'khaki campbell' duckling (4 weeks old) which i thought wre supposed to be all brown wre my duck has white and its more of a dark brown colour i was wonderin whether this happens sometimes or whether it has mixed with other breeds or colours in it genes

it coulds still be white ,just undercover for now , worry not these mules happen .you definatly need a partner for it tho

yeah i know i hav 5 more eggs in the incubator broke 1   so hopefully something will come out of them shud hatch in about 10 days

Used to keep KC - up to 60 at one time.  Never saw one with white on so I suspect you've got a cross.

yeah thts wot i thought hmm   oh well hav 2 hope the next batch are pure breds

just wondered if cross KC birds lay nearly as well as pure birds?  any ideas, anyone?b
