Home-made chicken and mushroom pie (last of the leftovers - yeah!)
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

Stir-fry of some description.  Had a bug the last couple of days - hopefully not The Bug, as it came and went without a cough - but not really that interested in food yet.

I can skip the rice or noodles and just have what I want with that menu, without OH feeling hard done to.

Going to FIL's for dinner this afternoon.  Not really looking forward to it as I know it will be a meat fest which I'm not into.   He also, to my mind, cooks things too quickly, it's not that they're overdone but slower would make them less 'tough'.

Back home again now and it was as bad as I expected.  Beef, gammon and tongue.  He must have put the cauliflower on to cook before Christmas as it was mush as was the cabbage which he then fried with bacon.  I didn't bother with the sprouts which Paul told me had been cooking since October.   Oh well, obligations done and we can eat properly tomorrow.

Brie omelette was scrummy.  first time I have done that, I normally use a mix of grated Mozzarella, and and any others in the fridge.    Jacket potato tonight.
