Layers pellets or other?
« on: December 06, 2011, 12:45 »
I now only have two girls, both quite old.  Lily I had from an egg 7 years ago, and she has laid hardly any eggs in her lifetime.  Lupin who is now 4 years old and laid her last egg a year ago...  I still feed layers pellets, I do worry that they do not need layers and should be eating other feed... It doesn't see to have done any harm to Lily but I still have niggles at the back of my mind..  They do not free range as we have many foxes that roam day and night in our grounds, so they are in a large caged area...  I would really appreciate any comments or thoughts on this please... Thank you

they are fine on layers and layers will help keep their calcium stocks up which will help their bones  :)
Staffies are softer than you think.
