These are my babies who will be four weeks old on Monday. I think I have two boys and a girl - what do you think? They are silver pencil laced wyandotte bantams.

Bless them they are all a bit dopey looking as I got them out of bed to have their photo's taken as it is the only time I can catch them. There mums didn't seem to worried about it. Please tell me what you experts think they are

I think they are all lovely, but don't know what sex they are sorry!! :(
-
Thank you, they are sweet although they are just getting to that awkward gawky teenage stage. Some other people suggested that they are all girls - that would be great!!!! What do you think???
-
Hmm... wing feather and tail feather all consistent in size...
so, either all girls or all boys, though at three and a half weeks I would also expect them to have little backpacks, so I'm leaning towards all boys... sorry!

id say the first two boys (wattles developing & can be seen clearly) last one a girl as lack of wattle development.
I dont know if its relevant but 1st two have stripes on the eye, the last one hasnt.

Gorgeous pics Chuckmum and great names :).
I'm not too sure about Onion (sorry :(), but I think Sage is possibly a boy because of his/her feet look quite large and his/her comb and wattles are clearly visible. Parsely's comb and wattles aren't very clearly seen and his/her feet aren't too big, so I think it may be a girl.
I'm definately not 100% certain what I've said is right, but that's what I'm thinking ;).

I'd go with 2 boys and a girl

After seeing the front view photos I'd say Sage and Onion are boys and Parsely a girl :) :) :). Still not 100% sure though :nowink:.

Hi, I'd go with 2 bys and a girl - how are they behaving? do Sage and onion bicker more with each other than Parsley - The fight for dominance starts very early!

I agree with ww, 1st one shows distinctive wattles (boy) and last one no wattles at all (girlie) but I couldnt really see from piccies to say for the other 2

Hello again, I think I have two girls and a boy. Onion still is the only one with obvious wattles (now aged 6wks). He engages in a fair amount of sparing with Parsley, who has just joined them now both mums have returned to the main coop. He is also bigger and has a more prominent tail. So I am please two have two hen's, but I will need to rehome Onion (if anyone has any suggestions of a good place to start with him I would welcome the suggestions - he will make a good looking cockerel I'm sure)!
