hi all hope you can help , my dog does this thing with her ears , they are not set back but curve to the side , for all trekkies like a ferengi , she does it when she greets us and so far only does it for hubby and myself it looks realy cute and was wonder what it was for , thanks all

Maybe, like a ferengi, it's an erogenous zone and greeting her loved ones is similar   ;)

If my dogs try and look cute it usually means they want a treat  :lol:

Our Jack Russell does that too and wiggles her whole body at the same time! It really is appealing, and she always gets a stroke and a scratch when we can!

As she has 'prick ears' I.e. They don't normally fold down, she always looks very alert, except when - like you say - she's overjoyed about something! Either that or she's shrieking at the postman, or anyone else who gets near!

In fact I've just had the gentle paws on the side of the chair and the big brown eyes treatment, as I've been in London all day...

Wouldn't want it any other way...
