yippeee my 1st double yolker!

I've got 3 girls, as far as I know only one is laying at the moment as we get one egg per day, she consistenly lays smallish eggs but yesterday I found a huge one in the nest, cracked it open today and that bad boy was a double yolker :cheers: I had to take a picture quick before Mr. Katt scoffed it down. I haven't stopped grinning yet and doing stupid little dances around the kitchen.

WOW!!! Katt, that is amazing. Haven't seen one of those before. I might print the pic out and show it to my girls, along with the 15 egg box my neighbour bought round. Not that I'm being demanding or anything!

home grown eggs are not high in cholesterol, so I keep reading

well done on that double yolker. Loads more where they came from. I have just one hen that lays them but she does so quite often

We've been away for 3 days and our 2nd girl has laid an egg.. that or our first one laid 2 in a day!

Our biggest so far was 84g

We wrote the weight on the shell and decorated it with stars! I thought it was special, but one of the kiddies still ate it :?
