Fruit Tree Help
« on: April 23, 2012, 17:41 »
Hi,

Last Autumn I bought and planted a Victoria Plum tree & a Cox's Orange Pippin Tree from Thompson & Morgan. I planted both exactly as per the instructions given.

One has survived and is doing well where as the other is dead and I want T & M to replace it for me.

My problem is I forgot to label which is which. Obviously when I contact T & M they will want to know which to replace.

From the 2 photos below can you tell which is the Victoria Plum & which is the Cox's Orange Pippin Apple. The 1st 2 photos are of the tree that is healthy and growing and the 3rd is the 'dead' one. Can you help?

An apple tree leaf looks like this.

And the plum is here.

They're fairly similar so compare with what you have.
