Help identify this polytunnel?
« on: April 20, 2020, 19:33 »
Hello all!

I picked up a pre-loved polytunnel late last summer, and I'm now making plans to put it up (the new cover has arrived). When I dismantled the tunnel, the ground anchors were loose in the ground, with a couple of concrete blacks laid on the cross-tubes to hold them down. Luckily the tunnel was in a sheltered place! ::)

I've had no luck identifying the manufacturer, therefore I don't know how these base fittings should be installed (in concrete, I assume). Anyone recognise these components?

Sorry, I've no idea.

But my reply will move your post higher up the board, so that hopefully someone else will have some bright ideas about installing it!
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Thanks for the bump and the moral support, Yorkie! :)

So, I have now identified the tunnel. It's manufactured by Richel in France (large company who make some massive commercial tunnels, greenhouses, etc.), and I've contacted their Irish distributor who has sent me the installation book and the parts list by pdf. They carry the full line of spare parts and offer support for customers. Happy days!
