Vitopod Heated Propagators

hi dose anyone have a Vitopod Heated Propagators with Thermostat. just wonderd where you put the  heat sensor. i put mine in the compost like in the pic

I used to have one and also put the sensor on the compost surface.  After 3 years the tip of the sensor snapped off and I was unable to replace it so I changed over to heat cables and a thermostat.

I just poke the sensor through one of the little holes and leave it measuring the air temperature.  I would guess that its pretty well equilibrated.
