Jars and Lids
« on: June 12, 2009, 22:45 »
Been collecting my jars but will no where near have enough for all my jams and chutneys i will need to be making.

Any suggestions for the best place to buy them? been looking on lakelands web site must be a cheaper place somewhere.

Cheers MW.
I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

ask on your local freecycle, on ours there are always people giving them away  :)

I have been saving jars for some time now, but was needing some new lids. I got some from Lakeland, but they only fit one size. I have put in an order with this company for some different sized lids the other day. hopefully they will be here soon. :)

Maybe they will be of help to you too.

Try also

I've used them for bulk buys, but I think they will supply lids in the quantities you want. Jars are always cased, and with postage are quite expensive unless you have a palletload
