leek trouble

just came back from being away for two weeks when i left my leeks were healthy but came back and nealy all have shriveled up and have gone brown.are they a goner?

they were big anough they werent full size .but when i left they were succulent green and very healthy.
could be leek moth i will examine the plant better tomorrow.

sounds more like drought to me .leek moth is something i havent seen since being in louth many years ago and i hope it isnt around your plots

there is no control available to gardeners but a friendly farmer ( arable vegetable type ) may have some deltamethrin available for use in a spray .. safety protocols must be used

drought =i dont know someone ws coming round to my cats and to water the garden and nothing else suffered just the leeks.

I planted about 200 of my own, then a fellow plot holder offered me a load more. If it's a freebie - it's rude to say "no"!
