There was a gap in the rain yesterday - everything squelching and a spring appeared in the field. Water bubbling up and forming a little stream.

Today the rain has passed over to the east but the next band is due on Sunday. It's calm, patches of blue between fluffy white clouds and cool at 8ºC

Lots of rain overnight and first thing, easing off now- just spitting. It feels very mild as though.

My jab appointment is at 2.30pm and I don't want to get soaked, waiting for the bus - so please no more 'til I'm back home

It's sodden here - absolutely! Water continues to pour from the retaining wall and another spring has appeared in the field by the raised beds!

Quite sunny after more overnight rain but having the occasional light shower. Ground is sodden so need some drying winds now.

Very wet overnight and first thing, but had pretty much cleared up by 9.30am.  It has actually been quite sunny this afternoon, but cool and breezy.

Mild and sunny, just as well, had to leave the patio doors open while I was painting the living room.

Pretty hard to sleep last night with the wind howling but it's quite calm and bright to start the day. Expecting it to start again soon and possibly some lightning late morning to make a change.

It's persisting down, and overflowing the gutters - obviously both the back yard and the front path are flooded - so I decided not to walk up the hill for a paper

Our weather has cheered up.  It is still breezy but the sun is out and we have blue sky.  Hopefully it is headed your way later

It's stayed very windy all day, but when it rains, it rains.

Much the same as others, cold winds, temperature drop.Blue/ white sky.  Was a bit of sun earlier, but it has gone now.  Mrs B

The wind has dropped slightly but again, when it rains, it rains.  We've got workmen in at the moment replacing the windows at two of the flats we rent out and the rain is angling itself specifically 'in' the open window.
