Arum Italicum...

Mrs Growster bough some of these several years ago, and none of them have ever flowered!

Has anyone else grown them, and finally got some of the lovely red beady flowers, like 'Jack in the pulpit'?

Took four years -- first one of the three flowerd last year

and then this year nothing again

Lucky I like the leaves, is what I say

Planted mine about 6 years ago, had flowers & the "red berry" spikes for at least the last 2.

They did take ages to grow, now they are growing & starting to get really big.

I'm on sandy soil, acid & they are planted in the shade of a tree.

Interesting Spotty - most of ours are in a place which is shaded - but from the west.

The soil is pretty good, but not yer actual 'Wisley Pudding Mix'...
