Honey glazed ham.
« on: December 22, 2022, 14:49 »
Good afternoon everyone, just getting our yluetide ham underway.  We normally glaze with mustard and brown sugar, but as the bees have let us have a morsel of their labours I looked up a recipe for honey glazed ham.

Not much difference, but at the bottom of the method I saw this.
"Our Most Popular Alternative,  Healthy pepper, tomato & ham omelette".

WHAT!    Cheers,  Tony.

Addendum, as you may see I've corrected the title spelling to honey.  As to Hannay, where is the film the 39 steps after all it is Christmas!

Someone's been on the Yuletide toddies already! Just as a thought, have you tried maple syrup as a glaze constituent?
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

There is something against maple syrup...it costs. When we have honey bees willing to give up just a little of their produce for free!  Well not quite free, I've been feeding them sugar water and lemon grass all year to keep them healthy. :)

I think I may treat them to a shiny new bar top hive next year now I know a little more about beekeeping.

Cheers,  Tony.
