I have been offered a large load of mushroom compost (enough to do most of the site never mind my plot).  I have a couple of questions!

1.  Should we use this now or leave it in the pile until the autumn?
2.  If we use it in the autumn should we also add well rotted manure or should we just use one or the other.
3.  What plants should we not use it for - I know Blueberries and Raspberries won't like it but are there other veg and fruit?
4.  Does it have any nutrient value or is it just a mulch

so quite a lot of feed in it, as well being a good soil conditioner.

Interesting read. I want some but it's sommuch cheaper to have a full load but I have no idea what to do with that much. I do have a large empty compost bin it could stay in till i need it all.

Unfortunately someone has just done that.  but shared it around the bottom end of the site not the top lol
