[Plot 1 Problems]

Muggy heat this morning followed by a torrential downpour this afternoon. Could be more to come as well looking at the grey skies...

Just had a thunderstorm pass quite near to here - a goodly deluge, thankfully no hail, temperature now recovering having dropped from 23C to 14C in about 5 minutes!

Quite sunny and warm out there so hopefully a nice day beckons here. Bit of rain overnight but not much, maybe a millimetre.

Here, it is still, 16C and cloudy,  with the odd brief glimpse of blue.

Sunshine and heavy (road flooding) showers yesterday, steady rain over night and there's a lot of standing water about this morning. Sunny at the moment but it is clouding over and getting a it muggy.

We had some sunny spells this afternoon, but now the temperature is dropping (had to put a cardi on) and it feels like rain on the way.

From about 3 o'clock it started to get darker and darker and finally started to rain at  5   pm and has not stopped since.   There is a storm warning out for the Island tonight.  Lower lying plants are waving around but the taller ones are hardly moving.

Wind (outside, not inside  ) woke me up at 5 and I couldn't get back to sleep.
I had to go outside and clamp the greenhouse door together, as it is gusting at 35mph from the SW directly into the greenhouse 
So all my planning what I was going to do on the allotment, this morning, was a waste of time ..

Tipped it down all last night. Grey and muggy out now. The chilli plants are starting to sulk now.

Small amount of rain last night, about 0.5mm - but enough to dampen everything. Grey day today but not cold, running around 17ºC
Light rain to come later according to the met office - followed by a dry weather for 3 days. We'll see!

It rained so hard all night, one of the gutters has gone sideways.  It is blowing at 35, from the north west.
only making 16c .  Definitely watching the tennis and going on a tour somewhere in the World !

Well that's two of us suffering the same then. Not a day to be on the team emptying dustbins or being a postman.

It's grey, 15C, with a light misty/drizzle but at least the strong wind has dropped, so I can open the big greenhouse doors again

It is so disappointing, the winds have dropped a bit, but it is still more than usual from the SW.     No signs of sun, just grey clouds.  The last few days it has suddenly got better with sun about 6pm.  I am running in and out of the greenhouse with special plants in containers, and hanging baskets taken down and sitting on the ground
