Title: New Girls
Post by: sneezer on April 02, 2013, 15:06
HI thought I would show off my lovely new girls they are Rhoda ( Rhode Rock) and Lady Grey (Bluebell), already they are showing their personalities, and are a joy to be around. I think Rhoda will lay soon as she is already bopping down....

Very pretty sneezer.  By the looks of Rhodas comb I agree she should lay any time soon.   :)

Well it was an exciting day yesterday, Rhoda laid her first egg, she was very sweet she followed another hen into the coop and stood by the door, she then got turfed out, that hen then moved to her coop and laid, when she had left Rhoda went in and laid her egg.   :D

You will be having a special ceremony to mark her first egg tomorrow morning I presume with a scrummy breakfast.  Now will you go for poached, fried or scrambled?   :D
