Mi courgettes!
« on: May 21, 2010, 23:10 »
Trying 6 varieties this year. Got them all transferred into 8inch pots, all looking brilliant, however now the leaves look a bit scorched maybe, don't think its mosaic. They've bin in conservatory and its very warm.

Should i snip off the badly scorched leaves (the smaller newer leaves look much better) or leave them to die off themselves?

Either way will work but I'd get some air flow going to cool off the conservatory a bit. They like it warm, not scalding and if kept too hot you might find the flowers falling off before pollination.

Some varieties of courgette do have a pattern on the leaves though
