At this time of the year when its mostly person free on your lotties, cats go a wandering.
They start laying claim to little bits of your land, but because it is wet and very unpleasent for cats in general you do not always know that they are around.
Being too wet to leave a calling card could lead you believe that they are not there, but they are and they are just waiting for you to start making things better for them by digging over the soil so that they can dump in comfort.
They are even now dividing up your patch and sorting out who is top cat.

If you want to keep them away from your plot act now.
The cats think they have found a safe deserted piece of land free from humans and other problems.Once it become "THIERS" it will be a lot harder to shift them,so stop it becoming so.  How,well read on.

Save your urine and spray it around.  Do this every 2 or 3 weeks and in spring you will not have a cat problem.( If there is heavy rain do it again asap)

If you do not want to do this then scatter Tea Bags on which you have placed a drop of Olbas Oil.  The smell will make them feel a lot less welcome.
Replace around once per week.Or after very heavy rain.

By doing this you are discouraging them from roaming free and claiming your lottie on which to dump.
Some poor village is missing its Idiot
plus officially the longest ever occupier of the naughty step.

In my family (Irish) all rosemarys are Rosey Marys.

My name in my family is pronounced Hen-ery.

I talked to you like a family member.

Not just an english girl who just happens to live in Ireland.

Nor carry toxocaria, a cause of blindness & brain damage particularly in children.  Toxocaria is a nasty parasitic protozoan that is dependent on cats in it's lifecycle.

Accidental contact of cat pooh can lead to this parasite passing through the skin and ending up in the brain where it burrows away to it's heart content.  Dogs can carry it but they are actually dependent on cats.  So cat owners should worm regularly to prevent.

In the last prolonged heat wave there were many cases reported due to people picknicking on contaminated ground.

This is why I get infuriated by neighbours cats cr***ng in my garden.
