Mine look as if they will finish up with about 6 melons apiece, as any further female flowers have either failed to set or grew to duck egg size and then aborted.

In other words, that's just as Stompy predicted earlier in this thread, (luckily the plants seem to know much more about their capabilities than I do!)  ::)
