I just flick through their websites Paws - the Thompson Morgan one of the advert above is a nice one with picis, Suttons have a nice one too, and you can get email updates from them too :)

most seed catalogues come out November time.  I like Real Seeds as they only do seed you can save, which has to be a good thing.  Fothergills, Kings, Dobies, Tuckers, Chiltern, Organic Gardening Catalogue, Simpsons,  and my favourite is Seeds of Italy  :)

Catalogues great for browsing in the Winter months.

Seed buying more economical either in the Summer sales (although don't buy short-life seeds like Parsnips) or online - there is a site that sells seed packets at 99p. Worth considering the qty of seed per packet too.  Do you really need 1,000 Lettuce seeds?!

Also Marshalls http://www.marshalls-seeds.co.uk/

A couple of packets I have had from the Organic Gardening Catalogue turned out to something other than what was on the label...

There is a huge quantity of seed in a Seeds of Italy packet, but they actually encourage you to keep them for next year  (though not parsnips of course!).  I buy Italian varieties from them, but buy traditional English varieties elsewhere.

Cheers,

Gillie

Alanromans.com are good for cheap seeds. You don't get fancy packaging and they haven't got the hugest range of seeds, but definitely very cheap and good quality!

I agree with you there, just a shame that their range is a bit limited, so i still have to but elsewhere.
With the other suppliers it always amazes me how the price can vary enormously for what, on the face of it, are the same seeds
Seeds of Distinction has an enormous range of tomatoes and peppers, if you like try a few different varieties.

Bizzarly, post to Southern Ireland from Northern Ireland is at airmail rates. I assume the reverse applies.

Just watch for this.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
