Title: Onion beds

hi guys,
I've pulled up all my onions and spring onions now i was wondering if i could plant more for over wintering in the same bad or do i have to moving them on to Incorporated it in the crop rotation (next year crop rotation starting next spring)?

The old timer's use to have a permanent bed for onion's but modern thought is that you should rotate them.

do you think they will be ok in the same place for another year? as i'm still only in the first year of having the plot so construction is still underway to have all beds complete for the rotation.  so i was thinking of starting the crop rotation next year.

It's not advised, but if you've had no disease problems there this year, and replace lost nutrients when you plant, you should get away with it.

all clear from disease this year so i will take the chance i think thanks for all your help.
