Hi

I have just obtained some rhubarb seeds(Victoria).

After the seeds germinate and have grown on indoors before the frosts, what is the best way to bring them on through the summer ?

And how many years before I may harvest them ?

How doos spottyM,listen mate I have done exact same as you! I planted some  Vicy seed last week 25-30 days should be loads o wee plants? Soon to be them f***g things taking over!! Hope that helps ye matey.

I potted mine on for the summer, i just left them under the hedge neither bright lite or complete shade. Watered them when they needed it.....but it did rain a lot last year!!
When they showed they were still alive a few weeks ago i planted them where i wanted them...with plenty of chicken pellets. Don't think i'll take any sticks off this year give em a chance to beef up a bit first.
Dunno if that's right..but it's what i've done and what i decided for this year.

Buckstarr555, I think you may have a point with your comment on them taking over   
2 days in the heated propergator and they have germinated
