i think i ask for some advise from our members about  growing peppers as my wife wanted to grow some peppers this year its been many years since we grew peppers so as i hate strong peppers we decided to go with a sweet variety golden californian wonder an O/P variety I was told from my supplier it would be four weeks before they could supply

4 weeks later i was informed that they where unable to supply so I decided to order another variety called Nirvana as its said to be an ideal variety for containers don't hold your breath but the seed cost me £8.25 for 50 seeds  so fingers crossed hopefully they will produce a decent crop 

so without being a pain can you once again give me some sound advise on growing peppers so i can pass it on to my other half who will be doing the sowings and raising the peppers I'm not having anything to do with growing  pepper just as  long as there a sweet variety

Start them asap somewhere nice and warm, and keep them warm as you can once they're bigger, potting on as required.  IMO they need more feeding than tomatoes to do well.
