It's wet and windy. As per forecast.

Same here, so far so good - apart from another wobbly fence panel. Worringly the forecast is for it to get a LOT worse  this afternoon

Doesn't seem to have been as bad as I feared, so far. Pretty nasty out there but the greenhouses are still up. Noisy though..

It's quite bright with high level, but supposed to be a 100% chance of rain. Gusting 41mph.

Pretty wild last night.

The temperature is irrelevant because of the wind factor.   Blowing SW with gusts up to 65, and it keeps on raining.

Currently raining and sleeting at a rate of 53mm per hour, can barely see across the road!

Wind not that bad at the moment - maximum gust 42mph.

We have had a proper storm within our storm - thunder, lightening and a few mad hail stones in the lashing rain

Now it it is back to drizzle and windy ... very windy  ::)  The trees are trashing around and I keep hearing wheely bins up and down the road taking a tumble.  Mine are sheltered by our hedge at the front, as is the greenhouse thank goodness.  It is pretty silent on the roads as well.  I think everyone is hunkered down at home and staying put.

And very sensible too - not a day for driving to the garden centre so I've been told.

Very windy but not that much rain.  Some silly person (won't say what word I wanted to call him) decided to go wind surfing in Sandown Bay this afternoon, got into trouble and the Coastguard got called out, as if they haven't got enough to do at the moment.

When I worked at a garden centre, we had heavy (for the south east) snow one Sunday.  It took quite a while to get to work and we scraped enough staff together to open.  Our first customers arrived and a man got out of the car, got his wife out and into her wheelchair and pushed her across the snow covered car park to head off towards the outside plant area to look round.  Not buying - just looking.  Not sure if that is true grit or just grit for brains

Got quite windy in the night and it's definitely breezy at the moment but it's not raining and the greenhouses are still standing, so not unhappy.
We've been lucky with this one, makes a change.

Wind kept me up all night, so I'm a grump this morning. Calmer this morning, chilly and breezy.

Glad the greenhouses are OK John and MoS  :)  It is cool, breezy and grey here today.  Full on February gloomy stuff, but a relief after yesterday  :)
