Hello, I have 6 hens and 1 of them for a week now will get up eat a very small amount and drink then will sit for the rest of the day, the other hens are not pecking her at all, if anything they sit with her for some of the day. Her crop is ok, her poo's are ok but she did have a really big bit of phelm yesterday in her throat - is this the reason she is off colour? Her eating from day 1 (have had them for 3 weeks now) has always been different to the others, they all eat with such gusto, whereas she nibbles things and looses out because she is not quick enough. Would be grateful of any ideas, thanking you in advance

Firstly Welcome to the Hen House :D
Just a couple more questions about your girls to help get a clearer picture :)
How old are they?
Are they laying, is the off colour girl laying? (I pressume not but best ask :lol: )
When you say Phelm, have you actually seen this or is it more of a noise you can hear?
None of the other girls are showing any similar signs??
Aunt Sally will be along soon, she's fab and will be able to help you out, but answering these extra questions will help her :)

Is her breathing noisy ?
