Walked over to the allotments this morning and picked a good couple of bags full. I offloaded a few courgettes to plot neighbours but still came home with a couple, plus cucumbers, green beans, chard and a cabbage.  There were a few autumn raspberries as well, but OH scoffed them before I could take a piccie.

A few peppers and a ton of cherry tomatoes picked at home.

Edit to add 8 fresh figs to my haul.  I feel a naughty pud moment coming on  :D

Emptied out a 30l tub of Charlotte this morning - 3.7kg
A couple of dozen gherkins for pickling, one standard cucumber, a head of celery, some lettuce, spring onion & Sungold tomatoes (STILL no ripe, larger tomatoes...) & two yellow courgettes, which I sautéed in butter & ate with some of the smaller potatoes, boiled in their skins.
I noticed the Santero onion tops are beginning to fold over, so another week & they'll be coming out. Bedfordshire Champion are still standing.

Not a bad haul today. Cabbage and cucumbers were gifts from plot neighbours

Squashes, a pumpkin and some Sharks Fin melons swiftly gathered in after seeing the met office are threatening a frost tonight.

Also grabbed anything else that might get clobbered like the remaining tomatoes.

I've been getting 0.5kg of Cobra F1 beans for a couple of weeks now, plus Sungold tomatoes, plenty of chard, some broccoli & the odd (caterpillar chewed) cabbage.
One or two aubergines & some courgettes - should remember my camera...
Had a fine 'harvest' of seaweed off the shore on Monday, all crispy dry so it packed down well - just over 100kg, so that'll go in my compost bays over the next 6 months.

Harvesting a lot of tomatoes these days.  Mostly cherry or grape types. Some Stupice.

Slicing tomatoes have set fruit well, but only a few harvested to date.

My tomatoes were planted late this year, I only started to get meaningful production in September. Now they are coming on like gangbusters. With our climate, in a typical year, we should stay frost-free for another month and a  half.

Yesterday's tomato harvest. My late tomato season may have a benefit, the flavor of all varieties has been unusually good.

Tomatoes and peppers picked today.

The small peppers are an ornamental (and edible) pepper variety called "Pretty and Sweet", they are mild, similar to a sweet banana pepper. The  larger bell peppers are "Crispy Hybrid" from Burpee.

The tomatoes include Stupice, Gardeners Delight, an unnamed slicing tomato I'm calling "Garnet" for now, and a couple unnamed orange and red cherry tomatoes. The green one got knocked off a plant during some wind; it is probably Better Boy, and will become fried green tomatoes.

All of this came from plants I tented under polytarp during a few days when nights dropped to 3°C earlier this week. The plants seem unharmed through it all.

Harvested these today, Nov.1, from the garden (all outdoors). The small container is all from one plant, an unnamed cherry I'm calling 'Prolific'. The dark red slicers are also unnamed, I'm calling those 'Garnet'. The large dark plums are Purple Ukraine. The big red one is Better Boy. There are some Gardeners Delight underneath in the larger tub.  All together, about 3/4 gallon, some going into a tomato pie this weekend.  Some of those cherries are going straight into me, still fresh-picked and warm from the outdoors! :D
