My very first apricot, it was a tad under ripe, but lovely flavour

Apparently 3 more apricots have ripened (typical, I’m away !) they were found on the floor by hubby.

 I picked my first bunch of French beans this afternoon

Picked the first 4 tomatoes of this year & a few blueberries, harvested all my remaining apricots bar 2 that weren’t ripe, sadly some have been falling from the tree whilst I’ve been away & hubby has been collecting them up, slugs & woodlice have climbed the tree to spoil some of them on the tree, typical I was away as they became ready . Also first two gladioli spikes

A decent bag full from the plot today - cabbage, courgettes, dwarf french beans and chard, plus there were also some new potatoes for tea 

At home picked a few Padron peppers and a load of cherry tomatoes.

11lbs 6ozs of Caledonian Pearl potatoes (3 seed potatoes) so rather pleased with that, a punnet of tomatoes,mainly Sungold and at least 5 cucumbers and more to come

The raggedy jack grows well but gets tough.  Should have picked loads more when younger.
