Too wet here to do anything, apart from bodge up the shed gutter, to stop the water pouring onto my roses

Added more grass clippings to the compost bin. Hopefully I will have some lovely stuff by next year.

More hoeing. I checked pics from last year, this time last year i had pumpkins the size of bowling balls and sweetcorn were 5ft high. Now golf ball sized pumpkins and 2ft high sweetcorn

Had the sprinkler out for 3 hours. Uncovered the almost empty cauli nets and weeded. More hoeing elsewhere. Gave the compost bin a bit of a turn

Cut the grass with the push mower, went around with the strimmer and more hoeing. Some of the pumpkins i sowed are looking strange. Perhaps cross pollination?

Brief visit to check for storm damage.
Took the opportunity to cut down my asparagus. Not all brown but the wind has been snapping the spears too much.
Keep digging

Trundled 2x builders bags of gifted leaves to the Lottie, sorted out chickens, back in the garden, chopped down the now frosted dahlias & a few other finished or frosted annuals & perennials. Then trundled those to the heap at the Lottie, chickens again & pulled a few frosted nasturtiums & all the celery, that had got munched by slugs & had been inedible even before the frost got it.

Visited twice to drop off green waste for the compost bin and then leaves for the leaf mould one.  Had a quick check for storm damage.  I was OK, but returned a few compost bin lids and bits and pieces to other plots.

Quick visit to check for storm damage after gales over the weekend. All good. Winter pruned the apple tree and checked around the plot - all good. THE ONIONS ARE COMING UP! YAY!!! (So exciting to see the first green shoots for the year!!) :D
