After planting the tom's in raised beds in the greenhouse, I looked at the space down the line. I planted a couple of dozen onion sets and a line of carrots between the tom's and the walkway.
I'm pleased to say they (onions and carrots) were a success, a fine crop of both. The onions weren't world beaters but a useful size. They are haning in an onion bag on a hook in the shed and the carrots are in layers in slightly moist oak chippings.
Only one huge B.N.Squash so far. Cheers, Tony.
