Title: re planning my plot ..

well it need a re plan lol

i,ve got a small fruit cage   ...
also an area for raised bed  ...not built yet
her wise it free for all


soil is now good free draining...

hedge one end so shelter...

railway line fencing other side...

two open sides ..


how should i work this plot its a 3/4 plot..

i like growing most veg ..

help :unsure:

Assuming it is all clear I'd make a list of all the things you like to eat (grow) and go from there to make a detailed plan and get specific help: crop rotation, when to sow and plant, stagering plants for a continous supply, ...

I'd also have a chat with the neighbouring plot holders to see what grows well at the site and what doesn't. When you are up there it is a good idea to see how much sun the plot gets and if there are any areas that are shaded in the day near the hedges you have talked about. This will help in forming your plan.

hi sun most of the day ..

cabbage dont grow well tried for 3 years ..
parsnip i love but no good..

got soil tester
and a good compost heap..

so will start to look at thing..

Put aside an area for fixed crops, compost heaps, hut and green house, even if you don't have them yet.
The remaining area can then be split into 4 equal parts, makes crop rotation easier if you are dealing with equal amounts of land.
If you don't wish to use all the area in one section for say, cabbages, fill in with the likes of squash / sweetcorn / salids.
