First (of hopefully many for everyone) harvest of the year: sprouts, curly kale, swede, beetroot, leeks and celeriac. Some for tea, some for soup and some to give to friends.

PSB.  Finally. a few sprigs, but oh gosh- a quick count up shows 19, count 'em 19 PSB plants all about to come through... Eek.  :nowink:
Early sowed ones are 4ft and really big and strong, delayed ones (kept in pots longer, same sowing experiment) about 3ft and some later sown ones about 2 foot but all coming in together.

Kales hanging on in there.

4 Romansecos still doing well, main heads cut but side shoots on-going.

I still have some asparagus and arugula in the yard. Today I made a delicious dish with nettles and parsley. I should try to grow rhubarb next year. It's packed with antioxidants and you can use it for preparing some delicious desserts.

Casablanca Potatoes from the Greenhouse, well worth doing this as the first Earlies won't be ready until next Month, not even in flower yet although the second early Charlottes look as if they will flower first.   First of the Strawberries again these were given a boost by being in the Greenhouse for a month then back out into a sheltered position.   Most veg, other than radish and Rhubarb are still along way from ready.

Central Scotland isn't the warmest place to grow veg.

Over the last couple of days I have harvested Charlottes, Accent, and Kestrel spuds. Accent the winners on taste and texture. Courgettes, spring onions, a fantastic crop of electric red onions - first time ive been successful yay ! , Sungold tomatoes. Broad beans (Wikitiem) will be ready in afew days, lettuce and radish, and spinach has now all bolted so they will be thrown over the fence to the horses - although they dont really like the spinach, maybe too bitter ?,
Senshyu and Troy onions almost ready to harvest, Oh, and I pulled quite a lot of rhubarb which I attempted to turn into cordial. We now have about a gallon of rhubarb ginger sauce ! NOTE: DO NOT LIQUIDISE !
