Can outdoor cucumbers be grown in a greenhouse?

Yes, I grew some in my polytunnel last year and they went mad, had so many cucumbers I didn't know what to do with lol. Cucumbers love warmth, I think the thing to remember is to not grow outdoor cucumbers inside with indoor, all-female varieties, as it apparently results in bitter fruits? Someone more experienced on here will know!
