Title: Elderflower cordial added to white wine kits...
Post by: Growster... on October 04, 2018, 06:29
Without wishing to confuse New Shoot's post about sweet cicely (good for sweetening diabetic stuff too), I've found an interesting take on elderflowers.

We make a lot of Aussie chardonnay from kits, and it turns out pretty good as well, much better than much of the general bottom-of-the-range supermarket offerings. The five gallon kits cost around £30.00, which makes it about £1 a bottle! Also they're seven day kits and really do work that quick!

But there's still a little thinness in the body/flavour, which needs building up slightly, and we tried just a tablespoonfull of a good elderflower cordial in a litre bottle mix, bunged it in the fridge, and found the change is amazing!

Well worth a pop methinks!
