Title: Warm pads/heat pads/electric blanket

Has anyone used these?
Don`t seem to get enough heat from the soil cables to germinate seedlings that need the higher temperatures..
Any pros and cons including running cost.?
Looking through the info I gather the warm pads are more or less like the soil warming cables and the heat pads would generate enough heat to germinate the tomatoes etc.
