Makita 9" Disc Cutter Spares..........

I've acquired a Makita 9" disc cutter so that I can cut up some salvaged metal framed windows to make a couple of cold frames. The retaining nut has been butchered by a previous user and it took hours of wrestling to remove it, even with the correct spanners!
I'd like to replace this nut and restore the machine to its former glory. Anyone know of any web sites that sell spares to the public?

I'd second ebay...........that's where I got a disc for my ancient tile cutting machine

I've one of these and a Makita/Dolmar petrol post auger. I've actually found Makita to be very helpful if you phone them.
If you supply the model/serial number they'll be able to tell you the size of spacer and nut you need - then you can go to Ebay where it'll be much cheaper
