Ideally when the weather gets a bit warmer Fred so you don't use so much electric in the brooder shed!!!! or brooder box, depending on how many chicks you want to rear!!

Thanks Annie, i was thinking of starting with six eggs and see how many i get, as this will be my first time incubating eggs.   I am running temperature and humidity tests at the moment so i am not in a hurry------Fred

In addition, the cocks fertililty tends to be better, unless they are kept on light through the later part of the winter
