Hi,
I purchsed six French Copper Black Maran eggs and one has hatched yesterday and she is pure white with fluffy legs,the other one is a white/grey and the others are coiming through now,I managed to take a pic of her as she was out of her mum having a rest!

Well it could be a white Marans, or it could be splash of the breeder had blue and black coppers running together - I think... I'm just starting to learn about chicken colour genetics.

(but i know that blue + blue = black, blue and splash offspring in differing proportions.
