My brother who lives in Hastings has asked me 'is it o.k. to move some daff' & crocus bulbs out of some large patio pots & re-plant them in a new rockery area now that they finished flowering or should he wait untill they have died back' ?

Best to wait till they have died back. The bulb is now taking up all the energy  it need's to flower next year.

I agree. Far too soon to move them. The leaves will only die off too fast no matter what you do and the bulb will be stressed. Once you see signs of drying out, then you can move them.

and a feed would help them along, too
